
Eric B. Ramsey
1974-04-05 2013-08-01Eric B. Ramsey was born on April 5, 1974 in Detroit, Michigan to the parents of Rema and Eric Ramsey. Eric was the second oldest of eight children. Eric was educated in the Detroit Public School system and obtained his GED at Central High School. He was employed at Universal Fixtures for 15 years; and was later employed at Anchor Staffing in Detroit, MI, until his untimely departure. Eric was a praying man and had received Christ at an early age at Detroit's Faith for Miracles Ministries on East Grand Blvd. Eric prayed every morning when he arose and before he went to sleep at night. He kept the birthday card from his Grandma Margaret Ramsey-Brown in his Bible; it encouraged his life. Eric was a sensitive, fun-loving, kind, caring person, who was very devoted to his family. He was pleasant to be around was tolerate of others and he didn't mess with anybody. He was affectionately known as E'Dubb; he loved his Grandmother Flossy Hill very dearly. Eric never left her side. When you saw Eric, you saw Grandmother Hill. If you saw one without the other, you would ask Grandma where is Eric, or Eric where is Grandma. Eric leaves to cherish his memory, Mother Rema Ramsey; Father Eric Ramsey; Sisters: Sheila and Tlisha Ramsey; Brothers: Antone (Tanyia), Carl, Dujuan, Aaron, Eric Ramsey; Grandmothers: Flossy Hill and Margaret Ramsey-Brown; Great Aunt, Ida May; Aunts: Shelly Pugh, Barbara Gaston, Donna Almond, Cynthia Hill, Paula Ramsey; Uncles: Kenneth Hill, Anthony Hill, John Hill, Saul Hill, Donald Hill, Albert Ramsey and Kenneth Ramsey and eight nieces, and 11 nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
