Reunion Letter 2025

Sunday, January 19, 2025

Dear Grier Family and Friends,

I pray everyone is off to a glorious New Year and reaping the fortunes of good health and good spirits.  Thank our Lord for giving us yet another year to prosper and meet again in just a short while.  May you all enjoy Martin Luther King Jr. Day tomorrow by being a blessing to someone in some small way.

I wanted to begin by providing an update about the Family Reunion.  The 2025 Grier Family Reunion has been moved from Atlanta, Georgia to Cleveland, Ohio.  The dates of the Reunion are July 25th, 26th, and 27th. The Cleveland Committee is looking forward to hosting and showing you a great time.  Please spread the word, as July will be upon us before we know it. Make it your goal to bring with you someone who has not attended a Reunion in a while, for there is no better time than now. Also, keep in mind that all registration fees must be paid by March 1st to avoid a late fee.  Please refer to our website for a  complete break down of fees and dates. This information can be found under the “Fees and Donations” tab.  Access the website at grierfamilyreunion.myevent.com.

We will be lodging at the historic Ariel Broadway Hotel in Downtown Lorain, Ohio.  The hotel overlooks Lake Erie, so for those of you who enjoy fishing from time to time, don’t forget your gear. Hotel reservations can be made immediately by calling the number below.  When making your reservation, be sure to reference the Grier Family Reunion for our special rate.  The room rates are $107.99 for a King bed and $107.99 for Double Queen beds.  The tax rate per night is 12.5% per room.  For anyone arriving a day early or staying over an extra day, the rates will be the same. Please be advised that the cutoff date for reservations is Friday, June 13, 2025.

In other news, I would like to thank Michelle Grier, Kianna Funderburk , Allen and Jasmine Graham for accepting the 2026 Grier Family Reunion, which will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina.  For anyone else considering hosting and those who have hosted in the past, please know that your hard work and dedication to the Family is greatly appreciated.  Thank you.
