Next, Myra Patterson led the family with a fun activity of Scavenger Hunt.
Everyone scrambled to find objects for the hunt. Clement and his family won the first game

The second game was equally as spirited and was won by Alicia Price.
Another game was introduced by Valerie.  She led the Category Game.  Family members were given a letter, and answers had to be given that matched the letter that was provided.  All the games brought lots of laughter, fun, and hysterical joy to those that participated.

It was reported that $770.00 was raised through the sale of raffle tickets for the 50/50 Raffle, benefitting the Scholarship Fund. Stanley thanked Charniece for spearheading this fundraiser and Valerie for her assistance. The winning ticket was held by Dorine Bond, who won $385.
Myra Patterson Steward closed the first day with prayer.

Sunday August 9, 2020

The day was started with prayer by Joyce Bowles.
Myra delivered a wonderful and powerful message on trusting God through it all, especially through the Pandemic. The reading of Psalm 91 was very inspirational.

Stanley expressed our appreciation to Myra for her hard work in preparing a Family Reunion that did not happen, and shifting gears in having a Virtual Reunion.

Myra thanked her committee consisting of Ronette White, Pam Grier, DaNita Grier and Joanna Grier, as well as, her husband for all their support.
She closed our Reunion with prayer at 12:22 p.m.
